South Madison community partners form reciprocal relationships with CCP educational partners, with all partners informing issues, providing expertise, and delivering services in areas of health, education, housing, business, jobs, capacity building, and community organizing. Community partners are mainly located in the five neighborhoods surrounding South Park Street.
Community partners below are some of the many collaborating organizations. Neighborhood associations, government agencies, and businesses also partner with Campus Community Partnerships.
This association, part of the Multicultural Business Resource Center, promotes the economic and social development of the African American/Black community. AABBA facilitates access to capital and empowers African American and Black business owners to build, expand, and assist entrepreneurs and businesses in the community. AABBA provides financial, educational, legislative and networking resources to its members and potential members.

A nonprofit organization that works to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Taft Street Branch (South Madison) has a gym, renovated industrial kitchen, a state-of-the-art technology lab, game room, art room, and small group meeting space.

This nonprofit organization administers to the poor and disadvantaged through St. Martin House and the Guadalupe Center programs. Both programs offer meal programs, job development, computer labs, and educational, social, and religious activities.

This nonprofit organization exists to empower Latinos through quality social, educational and cultural programs. Located in South Madison, Centro Hispano works for equity for Latinos in the receipt of services, jobs, housing, and education.

A 25-year-old alternative high school program housed in the Villager which draws students from various school districts. This high school program uses service learning, experiential learning, and transitional planning in its learning segments (i.e., “interest groups” based on student interests).

This nonprofit member organization promotes and educates Dane County about home ownership. Members believe home ownership will increase family stability and financial security; stabilize and strengthen communities and neighborhoods; and generate jobs and stimulate economic growth. Member agencies include housing industry representatives.

This nonprofit organization educates and mobilizes the religious and labor communities of South Central Wisconsin to actively build relationships between faith and labor groups, and to support the rights of workers to organize and engage in collective bargaining.

South Madison teams of the Joining Forces for Families program work to ensure the success of youth and families in school, home, and community by building a strong collaborative team, each including a police officer, a public nurse, a county community social worker, and school personnel. Agencies include the United Way, the Dane County Human Services Department, local and county law enforcement agencies, local school districts, local and county public health departments and neighborhood groups.

This corporation promotes economic and social development of the Latino community by supporting the creation, expansion and diversification of Latino-owned businesses through educational, legislative and networking activities.
La Cámara de Comercio Latina de la ciudad de Madison, Wisconsin busca el desarrollo y apoyo de empresarios latinos con el objetivo de mejorar los sus negocios a traves de capacitación, asesoria y conexiones empresariales. A traves de eventos mensuales llamados “Desayunos Empresariales” logramos conectar las necesidades y ofertas de los negocios latinos, o simplemente, una colaboración mutua para el beneficio de los empresarios latinos.

This Madison library branch is one of Madison’s busiest libraries. The South Madison Branch Library will be expanded from 3,200 square feet to 12,000 square feet and will be located on the ground floor of the Urban League of Greater Madison building, an anchor for the Villager Redevelopment Project. MUM “stands with the poor and hurting, neighbors working together for social change.” This nonprofit interfaith social justice organization is located in South Madison, and has a county focus. MUM brings individuals and faith communities together to identify and study issues, urge action, and work together for social justice in the broader community.

Ranked as one of the Thompson-Reuters Top 100 Hospitals in the nation, Meriter offers primary and specialty care services, including the busiest birthing center in Dane County; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; leading-edge surgical services including robotic knee surgery; cardiac services ranging from advanced diagnostics, surgery, and rehabilitation; and emergency services featuring the only accredited chest pain center in Dane County.

A coalition of organizations representing stakeholders in Park Street revitalization. Many public and private projects planned or underway within the Park Street Corridor relate to economic and community development.

This enjoyable community gathering place offers fresh organic produce, flower bouquets, meat, and baked goods. The market is available four days a week during the growing season: Mondays at 2500 Rimrock Road, Wednesdays at 1501 Gilbert Road, Sundays and Tuesdays at the Labor Temple lawn (1602 S. Park Street), and Thursdays at The Villager.

A well-known multi-agency collaboration providing culturally sensitive, coordinated health and education services at the Villager in South Madison. Harambee enlists active community participation in addressing health care, family support and education needs. An association of business people working to promote and improve the quality of life and image of South Madison in the City of Madison, City of Fitchburg, and Town of Madison. SMBA encourages well-planned, high-quality, and balanced commercial and residential development, as well as economic growth. SMBA is also a member of SMPC and PSP.

A coalition of neighborhood and business groups that work together to increase the civic capacity on the Southside. The SMPC serves all City and Town of Madison residents who live within the following areas: northside boundary (Regent Street, Monona Bay, and Lake Monona); southside boundary (City of Fitchburg); eastside boundary (Yahara River and Mud Lake); and western boundary (Randall Avenue and the University of Wisconsin–Madison).

The Urban League of Greater Madison is moving to South Madison and expanding its programs in college readiness and career development, workforce development, and equity development for first-time homeowners.

WWBIC welcomes organizations to partner with them on economic development, and invites residents and microenterprises to access capital through direct lending, one-on-one individualized business assistance, business education, and asset-building financial awareness education programming. WWBIC programs emphasize support for women, people of color, and people of lower wealth and incomes.

Many organizations give financial and technical support in worker- and industry-targeted initiatives, including efforts focused on creating positive economic change in South Madison (i.e., identifying profitable businesses wanting to locate in South Madison and skilled workers wanting to live in South Madison).

YWCA aims to empower women and improve the quality of their lives. YWCA in South Madison, the YWCA Employment and Training Annex, helps individuals find, change or maintain a job and acquire the skills they need to advance in the workplace.
